Sucks man, but you live and learn, we run our Fish Pros out in the ocean, you learn pretty quick out there that before you move all rods and nets in the holders with paracord lanyards wrapped around the handles. Also, double check the cooler door is locked.

Were you able to purchase those Escape Shacks from the show that were built?
@OetkenOutdoors8 күн бұрын
No, not the built ones. They would sell the shacks and then you would have to pick the shack up in the back somewhere. They were still in the box.

Oh my goodness that would be crazy! 🤣 I'm glad that didn't happen to me. If I wouldn't of caught it, it was going to be blown a couple miles away. I slid on the ice and grabbed the end of the rope. I learned my lesson. Stakes in first, then setup.

I went from a 1 man flip to a 2 man flip. The 2 man is my one man because of the extra room (all eskimo). Then I bought the eskape 2600 so I can bring the grandkids. I also have an Outbreak 450XD for me buddys/family. My go to tent is the Otter 2 man. That thing is warm without a heater. I didn't care that I had to try & stand to reach behind me in the quickflip. Next is what you bought, the Eskape 2000. My grandkids ask why I buy a new shanty every year LOL. I tell them because I can.

@ericoberbroeckling46062 ай бұрын
Guess I should explain. Brownies are usually your bigger catch out of the NE Iowa streams. They stock rainbows, brownies and maybe one other species? But they get fished hard and are spooky. Best way to do it is take a whole day in waders and walk a few miles of streambed. Find the bends. And hopefully find a stringer full!
@OetkenOutdoors2 ай бұрын
@@ericoberbroeckling4606 that's what I plan on doing next year. Spend a whole day just wandering and fishing down the streams. I love that kind of fishing!
