I prefer to separate the thread bc 6 strands is too thick for any project I’m working on! This is my preference, but you can totally do what feels comfortable for you and the overall look you’re making.

Thank you so much! I actually prefer to gently hand wash with cool water and allow to air dry. Think spot clean method!

Hahaha. I usually have a little dish of water to wet my fingers before inserting into my needle. I’m also using embroidery floss instead of thread! I hope this is helpful :)

What kind of thread and felt do you use?

I use embroidery floss for thread that is divided! Regarding felt, I prefer 100% polyester bc it is washable (I have a toddler!). You can certainly use a blend, acrylic blend, wool blend etc.
