I have asked Sako directly for this matter, here is the answer „Unfortunately the mounting instructions with the base has an error. They printed and released millions before the error was found. The error is corrected in the next version of the manual. Correct way is presented in the video. I apologize the confusing instructions.“

It is interesting that he mentions "minimized over-travel" when the Accuracy International design maximizes over-travel. I suppose, in both cases, the goal is to reduce the forces into the weapon while the bullet is still in the barrel.

I don’t think it ever was! It was in a demo kinda thing then got taken off their website! As far as I know you could never actually order a rifle with custom engraving through them!😢

@@HolisticHealthEducation The guys here sound Finnish, but not part of Finnish Defence forces. This is commercial ad for Sako so they cannot even use Finnish Defence Forces nor their staff. Though basically all Finns are reservists. You can see how snow mobiles are not white, ski bottoms are not white => Not Finnish Defence forces equipment. Something similar.
