Wish I'd known about this place over the summer. My sons were wanting to try camping and this looks ideal. May have to keep an eye on the forecasts for some good weather coming up (hopefully).

Looks like a canny spot! I've been putting off trying a hammock in the wild so could be perfect for figuring out the ropes with a backup tent in the car

I feel like I can listen to music anytime really, but when I drive to a wild camp and occasionally when walking I'll turn to podcasts instead. Makes the drive feel shorter as you're not counting songs, and it's less total 'noise' when walking so I can still hear nature around me. Shokz are great for that, means I can hear people coming up behind me so I can pretend to not be blowing out my arse 😂
