Paiste is pretty much the only company maximizing B8's full sonic potential. The other large manufacturers use it only for their budget lines. B8 can also be re-annealed rapidly by heating without damage, unlike B20.

True. Generally though, B20 sounds better than B8 but that is just an opinion of course

A lot of great sounds but I dont see many demonstrations of smaller chinas id be looking at make my main (I love the trasher complex sound a nice 14" can get you) its a very weird reverse considering i adore 16" hihats
