Beautiful heavy ride. Definitely needs a much thicker stick to really bring out the definition & that sonically gorgeous bell.

Thats the Zildjian secret. Water in the casting pots hahah! Probably not. Maybe the time tin and (other metals) are added. Trace amounts of silver or gold.

Paiste is pretty much the only company maximizing B8's full sonic potential. The other large manufacturers use it only for their budget lines. B8 can also be re-annealed rapidly by heating without damage, unlike B20.
@RedCymbals4 ай бұрын
True. Generally though, B20 sounds better than B8 but that is just an opinion of course
@DrMackSplackem4 ай бұрын
@@RedCymbals Yes, B20 is my favorite, too. I haven't experimented with B15 but it would be fun.

Thanks so much Dylan. I'm loving my Vertical Raw series. I can't wait to grow the collection. Thanks for the info! Have you considered doing a video that shows all the sizes of a series and type of cymbal? Similar to your video on splashes that has the 6 / 8 / 10 all in one kzbin.info/www/bejne/pp-6Y2xtj8RqfMk I'd love to see a video comparison of the vertical raw series on hats, crashes, and rides :)
