met someone on an island tour yesterday. it was her first day, but it was my last day on the island. couldn't bring myself to talk to her. my female friend later told me that she had a chance to talk to her, and apparently she found me cute, and that she and her friends were going to the same party we were going to later that night. we arrived earlier at the party, but i couldn't stop thinking about how i was gonna talk to her when they'd arrive. ended up drinking a little too much. when they did arrive, i was shitfaced. course i was. i couldnt hold a conversation with her. but she always came by my side to ask if i was ok. even brought me lots of water. their group left earlier cause their airbnb was a little far. barely remember how i got home. that will probably be the last time i ever see her. she's from a really far place. she called my female friend this morning and asked to talk to me, told me that i could go with them, but i was running a little low on funds and i had stuff i need to take care of back at home. ended up refusing her offer. we leave the island today, and then i find this song. now im really fucking sad. what a fumble. i thought this shit only happens in movies bro :(
