Great! Word "Kemlya" (it's name of village where distillery is) pronounced not "KemlYa", just pronounce "L" like you said in "KemlYa", but don't pronounce "Y". It's like how French pronounce "la", "à la carte". Then, make accent on "E", like in "kEtchup". K-E-ml-(y)-a

Ehm..... No, mark. Cosmo is a world blended malt that only has Komagatake as key malt. The rest is scotch, German and some other countries. The spice is from the Komagatake and the woodsmoke from the toasted barrels used. If you want some more info on Mars, don't hesitate to ask. Also, the Cosmo is not really consistent per batch. Also, the best Cosmo for me is the Coffee cask. If you want a sample or 100 of mars. Let me know.

Oh, wow! Thx for this info, Niels. I based my story on info received from a brand ambassador (which will not be named) at a festival I attended, as I could not find that much info online. I would certainly not mind receiving more info on Mars, as clearly I did not get the correct info. Much appreciated and apologies to all viewers for the inconvenience caused!

Morning Mark. I picked up these bottles a few years ago .The Highland bottle was sold out for nearly a year .There was a rumour that they spelt " Whisky ".On the bottle with an E like Irish Whiskey so all the bottles sold out immediately as people were told it would make the bottles more valuable ... Anyway Sir glad you have brought a bottle Of Johnnie Walker again . David in Glasgow. SLANJ 🎉

Oh, my, I just noticed I had in fact already done a Rambling on this release. Number #508, which I released 9 months ago, is actually about this very same release. I'm sure this means I was very happy with this release (and I was). I guess the age is getting to me, eh? 🙂

Mark, I'm having a Caol Ila 13 sherry cask from Impex @ 59 abv. It's a treat. The color is just like yours and the sherry runs the show. I have a Signatory sherry cask similar to yours I'm saving for a special occasion. I like how I keep running into you reviewing stuff I have when no one else is! Thank you, Mark.

I've been drinking the double black since it came out. Well, actually before that, since we were one of the groups they introduced the blend to before it's launch. I think it's a good 'bang for your buck' and a good grounding to better appreciate the 'good stuff' out there. Just don't drink it in a line-up after the 'good stuff'. Nice rambling. Who is piloting the drone?

Very well said Mark. Cheers 🥃 I can confidently say that this Woodford Reserve is the Gold Standard by which other Double Oaked bourbons are measured. Now if you could get your hands on a Private Reserve bottling (called a Store Pick here in the US), you would experience an entirely new level of HEAVENLY..!!!
