I get that they did it for the sake of the video, but the forest scene didn't have a guy with a pitchfork it was bugs he could feel but not see.

Not good. The lowest form of horror storytelling is the creepypasta, but given the potential of that story's basic plot, I wanted to see an early attempt at a (short) film based on that one. I read The No End House, and it was tangled in the familiar creepypasta tropes I expected- But that doesn't necessarily have to soil its film adaptations. Example: this same story's adaptation into Channel Zero's entire season 2, loosely-based on "The No End House" (if you haven't seen it, it's 100% worth the binge). It was excellent, original & genuinely terrifying. Fortunately, they used very little of the original story. This short film showed a few bright spots, but none that I can remember and I don't want to watch it again. Filmmaker: Don't give up, everyone starts somewhere and I've seen far worse things committed to full-length studio budgets. I hope you go on to do something great.

Did a stint as security guard way back then in younger years. Also patrolled some large empty hangars, store rooms, office blocks etc where you need to activate points with a magnetic disc. They play with your mind these buildings. Especially the first week or so where you literally get lost 😅😅😅😅
