I worked in the ER admitting and really liked the fast paced environment in the ER dept. There’s always something new and different to learn everyday! If I go back to school again for nursing, I’d choose ER nursing as my specialty to go into

Where ever they got these actors from must be asking good money . Because none of what they said happens. In fact those rooms are always empty. Never even knew they existed

You get ignored at the desk , treated like a crazy person, ignored , not taken seriously. They only lock you up if you talk honestly. Just to release you a few hours later with no support

This place is an outright scam. One of the worst companies around . Does nothing but tell you to sit around and go home . There a racket in the very literal sense. Don't ever come here if you need help . Because there isn't any

Just a warning Fraser Health treats ga* people really badly! It is a horrible place to work, slave away and there is so muc h toxic bullying in nursing in BC. I hope y'all listen to this bc I just want nurses to be safe and they are not in BC. Don't be fooled bc its pretty.

I was assaulted by 3 nurses there, do not work for fraser health, they promote homophob**. Feraser health is the worst employer;. I am gay and was severely assaulted by Sherri P. Esther K and Kim B. These people should be in jail, u can literally unalive your coworkers. Do NOT work for Fraser health, they are awful and if you are ga* stay away, they treat ga** like 2nd class, maybe worse like an animal.

I want to be a nurse and I was thinking L&D but now I’m thinking ER. My grandpa and uncle are ER doctors and ik they like doing it. I’m nearing the beginning of high school so I still have a few years to decide. If anyone has any tips for me please let me know :)

@@shamslilo5996 you have to have 1 year nursing experience in any department except ED and ICU as these are speciality area but after graduating if you are employed by a hospital, you can ask them if you can work in ED as most hospital as a new grad they would want you to start in MedSurg first.

Hopefully she only has 1 patient, being that it's a Level 1 Trauma center. Our hospital stacks us with 5 other patients, when getting a level 1. Nice vid though. Hopefully she has a good ratio. And that's great she is doing the primary assessment. Our hospitals the MD residents do it.

Nurses are the best people in the world. I've been in and out of hospitals a lot of times, and I give credit where credit is due. I always try to be as polite as I can. I treat them with the utmost respect because they put up with so much each day. NURSE LOVE! NURSE LOVE! NURSE LOVE! ❤

Fraser health authority is the worst HA in BC. By FAR. You people are inept and kill people. Vancouver coastal health is way more trustworthy and run correctly.

I don’t know if all nurses are detached from the patients, yes you can’t let your emotions over ride your duty to care for a pain in an emergency situation when the emergency is going on, or the emotion will get in the way of clarity in that moment. But what I think is what makes a truly good nurse is that they can put themselves in that patients shoes, empathise with how you would feel if things were reversed or if that were your loved one lying there suffering in their place. That is when a patient feels your connection to them and in times when a patient is scared that is exactly what they need is to feel like someone has got their back, that they are not alone and that someone understands what they must be going through. Once you get cold to that then I really do not think you do your job justices. My thoughts anyway. It’s how I have always been as a nurse and I truly think patients are grateful and their experience is a better one when they feel that connection with you. :) each yo there own and we all have different personalities, doesn’t mean they are not good nurses it’s just how they get through their day. Respect ! ;)

Jesus lied and said, "Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." How can he be the son of god if he said he was coming back 2000 years ago? The bible condones owning and beating slaves. Exodus 21:20 Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property. According to genealogies in the bible, the earth is about 6000 years old. This is contradicted by both recorded human history and fossil records.
