i have drunk Guinness for 50 years now, but i have to say i now prefer Connor's, also i enjoy Royal Stout more in bottle than Guinness. I am resident now in Singapore and lest go beer tasting together SG Alcohol Guy!

I had a bottle of this. Very strong coconut on the nose. Peat is mild, coconut and some honey, a dry finish

Personally Guiness Foreign Extra and an actual Guiness pint for me are on par though they are very different. Connors would be my only Guiness stout alternative which comes close.

Love soju, the blueberry is my favorite, though to be honest I don't know if I should be drinking whole bottles like its a beer well 1 to 2 bottles 😅

Saw Breda beer on promo in 7-eleven, and tried it for the first time. Gotta say I enjoy it, light and refreshing, but not too weak either.

Have you considered for your next whisky review to drink the whisky to the shoulder, leave it for a few weeks to open up, and then do a review? The whisky would have opened up and should taste its best. Sometimes, the neck pour may not represent how the whisky actually should taste.

I am from India. I have had Hoegaarden multiple times, but only once in my life have I had Erdinger Beer. I can definitely say that Erdinger Beer is better than Hoegaarden.

It’s a good blend. I had a bottle of it and the first glasses weren’t very good, it tasted very flat and bland but after some oxidation it became much better. I liked it really, with a hint of smoke, honey, melon. Maybe I’ll get a replacement one day. Among blended scotch is one of the finest I had lately. Of course price can be a problem, so don’t overpay it. You can get single malts for the same price.

The taste is good but the price is a little bit high compared to the taste so I can buy something better at the same price 👍

You can tell a lot about a person by the whiskey they drink. Canadian Club drinkers are usually working class people with good taste. Crown Royal drinkers are usually more refined, scholarly types with expensive tastes. Jack Daniel's drinkers are badass motherf*cking rockers who don't piss around. You need to mix it with Cola to get the best taste.

I liked your review. When I lived in the US I used to drink a beer very similar to San Miguel Pale Pilsen, Miller Genuine Draft.

Very good beer and you described it perfectly in short words. I usually really dont like wheat beer but this one was not only bearable, but enjoable for me, very mild and tastes like they know what they are doing, only they didnt want to create an ountstanding beer, but a mellow one. I do think the price is high, but compared to construction work beers, this one is worth the price, id rather drink one of this than two or three of cheap, sour and watery beers.

Fun fact: Remy Martin replaced some of its vineyards grape trees outside of Cognac during the crisis era to save the cognacs brand grapes in case of catastrophe - that is also where st. Remy was born :)

This whisky smells better than it taste. A bit too watered down for me but I guessed that's what most casual drinkers prefer. For $150, I feel it is rather too expensive for a 43.4% 14YO. I would rather go for a Balblair 12 or Deanston 12 and saved some loose change for half a dozen of oysters. Hahahaha.

Whisky lover here! Personally prefer the Jim Beam Extra Aged or Double Oaked. Would love a Maker's Mark review, which is quite common in Singapore these days, Woodford Reserve or Buffalo Trace, which are available online.

You're using the wrong tonic! Im drinking this gin right now and its lovely. Im getting rose, vanilla and a light lemon and floral note. I used Fever Tree Mediterranean light. Ive garnished with raspberries and I put ice in too as an afterthought because it needed to be more chilled. I think it would be lovely with a raspberry and rose lemonade or a rhubarb soda. This tastes reminiscent of Turkish delight.

Hates it the first time but honestly it is growing on me. Better than the normal captain for sure.

I just brewed 5 gallons of Chimay Red. I never drank it, so I wanted to hear from a person who reviewed it. I think i am going to like it. You know you are suppose to age it. I don't hear about aging.

I don't think it's 9%. If you look at the fine print, it says 'Not Exceeding 9%' Meaning it can be less than 9% even just 5%. Still can be said 'not exceeding 9%' pls correct me if I m wrong

Not really a fan of baijiu myself after exposure to Jiang Xiao Bai, but i will say that no more than 12-15 ml is supposed to be drunk each shot (which is the capacity of the dedicated baijiu shot glass). You seem to have poured that amount so great job! Also, if it is sipped (or kissed), its more bearable. Would be interested in a comparison with other asian spirits like Korean soju and Japanese Shochu, which have similarities in terms of using koji fermentation and distillation.

Remember having a bottle of highland park back in 2015…nothing to write home about…
