These mods need umm and asset loader, do you know if they can be used alongside Railloader? I use that for Crazy Customs and the Alina mods and a bunch of others.

I've always wanted more of a model RR / real life hybrid thing. So you can do operations like a model RR, but still go to ground level every once and a while. Whatever this game is, it looks on track!

Your using my Alarka Expansion mod! Nice! Says FullTwist & Rose , should be Fulltwist, Rose, C.L.B , and Foxy. My concept and initial track layout, Fulltwist did the industry changes, CLB fixed the industry changes, and Foxy has retweaked the track layout. What you are calling a passing track is the outbound track as it outputs 15 cars a day per side (so 30 when you combined M1 and M2) at tier 5. :D

So long as it's not dependent on the GP38 scripts and is standalone, I'd be interested in this mod. I got the GP38 mod and another mod that adds skins, and the skins didn't work.

I get where you're coming from I guess, but this is one of those times where we have to politely say that's simply not true lol. They all run differently, are designed for different things, good at different things, etc. For example, the u30b has higher horsepower and tractive effort than the GP38, but the GP38 has a higher factor of adhesion. The GE u30b is better for higher speed mainline trains and the EMD GP38 is better for slugging it out at lower speeds with heavier cuts of cars while switching and spotting cars. I'm an engineer IRL and this is pretty accurate, btw. Both locos can obviously do both jobs, but they have different niches, just like steam engines. You could run an entire railroad with just generic GP38s and be perfectly fine, but you can also run an entire railroad with just generic decapods and be perfectly fine. If you boil locomotives down to "does it move a railcar", then, yeah, I guess they're all pretty similar haha. 😆 Again, hope that didn't come off as rude or anything, just explaining what we enjoy from having options! o7

Another cool mod to see sometime in the future would be the SD9, basically adds more tractive force and an extra pair of axles to a gp9. Would make for the perfect type of loco to go up the red marble grade.

Believe it or not you can legally ride there lol. Some railroads have rules on doing it above certain speeds, but at slower speeds you can ride anywhere with a catwalk! 😂

It is sad I don't have any steam trains near me. I would be volunteering every weekend if I had a local train depot or something similar. Probably why I want to build a railway of my very own. Everyone needs more trains in their life.
