Yes, I agree. They did take their time, however I think the end result is worth it as something new. The minis are great to add to the collection. I really want to explore the RPG world more now!

I haven't gone through the rules for each new box thoroughly yet. I will let you know if I see anything new.

Agree, unlike other unboxing formats, this comes from a pretty authentic place of knowing nothing about what's in the box before hand. I haven't researched it at all before, and I'm looking forward to exploring everything as a complete noob. :) I just sign up for KickStarters that look pretty interesting and treat the box coming as Christmas. We all have to start somewhere. ;) I'm guessing that as you found it very boring you just scrubbed through it quickly to find the mini's that you were interested in seeing?

Ahh, thanks for the info about what 'vitner' is. It makes more sense to me now. Yes, I have the RPG book that came with it. Am looking forward to going through it to learn more about the Trudvang world, which I obviously know nothing about. Hopefully can use the extra minis in the Trudvang RPG game. :)

Yes, it is a very different game that I think many people would not like because of the mechanics which are very different to anything that is out there at the moment. I have seen a few for sale recently and have considered getting them for a second set of minis to paint up differently.

That's a bit unfortunate when something like that happens and they force you into a scenario you are trying to avoid as a role player. Sorry to hear that. I'm getting my minis painted up at the moment by a local guy who does a pretty decent paint job, so first of all looking forward to getting them back and seeing what they look like, then secondly to use them in the campaign, and hopefully not feel as 'dirty' as you did when I get to that bit in the campaign. I have had a quick look at the beginning only of the first couple of chapters and like the story that I've seen written so far, and the choices given. I'm hoping the options given give enough of an indication of whether you are following an exploratory story line or dive straight into action story line. Thanks again for your comment, it was good to see it and read it and your experience. :)

I know it would only take a short while - however didn't feel at that point in time assembly was part of an unboxing video, and was conscious of keeping the video as short as possible. ;)

@@darbyl3872 I do it reasonably carefully. I used to use a different knife, which was sharp, but not as sharp as the current new one I use. I have found that with this newer sharper knife, it does get stuck on the thin edge of the cards a little more. So would recommend a sharp knife - but not too sharp. LOL - If that makes sense. My fingernails are not great for getting the ends of plastic, and I use a knife to save a little time in the videos.

@@startboardgames4662 I have a swiss army knife with tiny scissors I slide along the edge. I'm picky about damaged games. I also have different color markers for touching up card backs, if I haven't already sleeved them.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, the thickness of the cardboard rings holding the marbles on the table, is exceptional, and, barring an earthquake, the rings will prevent the marbles from rolling away. Keep in mind this is the Second Edition printing of Gizmos, so make sure you get this edition. I am glad it helped you consider this game, as this is part of my intention in showing the components. So that people can make a better informed decision as to whether or not this might be a game for them to consider getting based on component quality, or other factors. Thanks for your feedback.
