Does the paint crack after wearing the g shock bro..?

Not too much but a bit in the parts that bend. Everything on the bezel stays good, just make sure it’s acrylic paint if possible 👍

I have a metal G-Shock a GM-110b but the metal bezel is all scratched só i am thinking about painting it with some metallic spray can but not sure if it needs some primer before Paint
@youngwarriorfineart5 ай бұрын
Great question! Metal is a bit different, really all you should need to do is use some scotch-brite on any polished or clear coated areas. Deep scratches will still show through a bit though, problem is you Don’t really want to sand the metal, possibly polishing compound to remove the scratches. Then yes, use a metal paint if possible, maybe rustoleum enamel 👍

I’m not spray painting my g shock or taking it apart I just wanna touch up with some white paint on some parts is acrylic paint good to use ?
@youngwarriorfineart6 ай бұрын
Yes acrylic is the choice because it’s the most flexible. Still should clean it up a bit at least 👍
@Tedpopovich6 ай бұрын
@@youngwarriorfineart what would you suggest I use for the cleaning process? Maybe wipes or something?

@@Tedpopovich yes, nothing too strong even just a cloth and water. Just to remove any small amounts of dirt or oil and stuff.

what can we use to paint the strap that won't crack???
@youngwarriorfineart10 ай бұрын
Great question 👍 The Rustoleum paint I used does work well. Probably the best paint would be Angelus acrylic leather paint because it is flexible but it would still wear off on contact. Let me know if you find anything too!

Holding up well! There are some spots that have worn off, mostly on the bezel. I don’t wear it a lot though either.

@youngwarriorfineart Жыл бұрын
This is were the sketching part becomes the key, you can make a stencil from any image you just have to pick out and draw the parts of that image you want. The image I used is almost already a stencil so it’s much easier to make small changes. That said, I’d start with images that are already stencils and move up to more custom designs 👍

@youngwarriorfineart2 жыл бұрын
Yes the surface of the watch is meant to repel everything even paint, I’ve also had some issue with certain paint sticking. The best I think is the rustoleum brand 2in1 paint and primer. Also make sure it can dry for a few days at least.
@kinyamosley352 жыл бұрын

I'm thinking of doing the same to my G-Shock but what king of spray paint are you using. Is it for rubber or plastic and can i get the paint at any Wmart or Home depot.?
@youngwarriorfineart2 жыл бұрын
The paint that stuck the best was rustoleum paint and primer, it has the big 2X on the front. Home Depot usually has it. I’m still trying to find the best paint though because as the rusto did best, it still did come off in spots where the watch hits things. Let me know how it goes for you!
