As someone who has used Grand Soir in the past, I feel like Amber Eve has a thicker cloud and has a little bit more of a cacao smell. What I like about this DNA is how the amber perfectly balances out the vanilla and stops it from getting too sweet. Genius level perfumery!

Great video, and I have to say that you are spot on with your point about buying because you feel you "need" a fragrance... it's usually masking something else going on in your spirit. Not life threatening, but it could literally be retail therapy... which is ok, as long as you can evaluate and don't make bad decisions because you "NEED" a fragrance! Also, I've been looking at Khadlaj fragrances... i might need to order a sample kit!
@manuchitu50953 күн бұрын
Hello dear ❤totally agree with your points. We shouldn’t let the FOMO feeling dictate. I wish I could have sampled some of the Khadlaj’s scents because ,frankly ,I wouldn’t have bought them in full size. A bit dissatisfied with the longevity and how they developed on my skin (Karus Secret Musk, Sensuos Night and La Fede Aura Kiss of Rose) I will still continue to have the best words for the both versions of Empire Victor, which I enjoy because they are so good on my skin and the longevity is better.Have wonderful days and may God bless you 🙏

I personally think so! But I guess it’s all about confidence - it does have that Kirke and Erba Pura, Jasmine Wisp and Amber Oud Gold level of fruits and sweetness. But drawn back a little - if that terrifies you maybe you might think twice but it does settle down over time but it does have a gourmand sweetness 😊

Good morning, KC! It’s me again 😂. Thank you so much for the Jazzab Gold review! Your reviews really help me decide whether to add something to my collection or pass. I think I’ll pass on Jazzab Gold for now. I have a small budget for perfumes, so I’m usually very mindful of my purchases. That being said, when you get a chance, could you please review some 'easy-reach, everyday scents'? I’m new to collecting fragrances and mostly enjoy fruity florals, but I’m not a fan of musky or overly powdery notes. Do any Middle Eastern picks come to mind? I’d love to hear your recommendations! Easy-reach/signature scents are more versatile and get more use, making them more economical in the long run. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! 😊❤️

Hi Sadia, I’m so glad to hear you’re finding these useful! I’m a perfume geek so it’s to hear that my little risk of starting this channel to help others is working. No I completely understand the budget. I mean you only need a few really. I think immediately I think of Al Ibdaa Gold, it’s a fun super white floral fruity fragrance, any iteration of the Kirke/Amber Oud Gold editions are a must, the other one I’m personally obsessed with is Araak by Ahmed Al Maghribi that DNA is iconic. I also love Tanasuk Extrait (it’s hard to find but keep looking) and Rose Explosion is the best atomic rose iteration I’ve come across. I’ll try find some time to do some recording in the next couple of weeks and add more but I hope that helps

Hahaha! That’s so specific but you might be on to something. You’re right there’s so much potential for layering but the question is always, is it worth getting a fragrance if you can only tolerate it for layering. Maybe it will grow on you though…

I happen to like powdery fragrance, and i also like perfume that makes me smell clean (i liked Amazing Grace) I guess I probably will like Royal Musk. Thanks for the review! I like also fruity/floral/aquatic like Armani Ocean di Gioia, i hope to find a good dupe for that someday. I also liked Dylan Blue for women. Had you ever tried any Oscar De La Renta? I used to have Volupté by Oscar De La Renta, and that was the only yellow floral perfume i had that i kinda liked. I have a feeling you might like yellow floral perfumes it (i heard you mention that you like honey, beeswax, ylang ylang). If you like yellow floral you probably might also like Rare Tiffany by Afnan. I blind bought it, but find that I am realizing that most yellow florals don't appeal to me. I am just trying to use it up and to make it palatable to me, I layer with Armaf Katarina Light Blue.

It's kindda funny to see reviewers from the West finding the Gissah perfumes collection "sharp" or skanky or animalic/strong.... 😅 For someone who was born and raised in the Middle East we absolutely love our Oud and Bakhur fragrances. It's only recently in the last 5 years that I'm seeing designer fragrances jumping on the oud wagon. Imperial Valley and the others from Gissah are just the kindda smells we're used to since we were babies 😂 so much so that a lot of Western fragrances smell weak to us 🤦🏽♀️ our noses have gotten used to deeper richer scents perhaps 🤷🏽♀️

Hey hun! I had the same worry as you! I didn’t intend on buying that bottle for all the high prices that they’re being sold for! Normally they’re helpful. However it’s a gamble anyway.
