this is so awesome! I'm so glad that you guys went!!! Oshkosh is less than two hours from my hometown, and my mom loves to go and see the planes. (: I remember going the summer I turned 14 or 15 and we got to see the Beach Boys with John Stamos! the only planes I remember that day are the Blue Angels. I didn't know they had a 5K! your sunglasses are super cute! I get a lot of comments from pilots I work with or in the airport about EAA because I have a "MKE crew" tag on my bag because why would I want to advertise that I'm based in your favorite CLT? hahaha. another tip is that if you connect through ORD, you might be able to get to Green Bay (GRB) or Appleton (ATW) which would be a shorter drive, but the airline we fly for only does regional flights to those airports, as far as I know.

Hope you 2 enjoyed your Wisconsin adventure and had some famous cheese curds and bratwurst. I grew up in Wisconsin so I’m very familiar with the area and usually fly into Green Bay or Appleton. Headed there next month to visit family.

I went to EAA years ago. The Concorde was there that year, that was cool. First day, a guy came in low and hot in a small jet. He clipped some electric wires which sent him into the trees and then crashed on the ground, killing both him and his wife. Ruined the whole show. We just packed up and left. Never been back. Have no desire to go back. Glad you didn't have a similar experience.

Great vlog, Jessica. Well, i got caught up in the chaos with the computer or IT stuff. You got lucky, and the flight i was on was delayed like 5 or 6 hours.
