Elena Scott is a beauty, what I want to go out for late day cruises with family. My Mom and Mother in-law don't like speed. That little boat @7:50 was fast, Outlaw.

Something just seems wrong about playing the National Anthem in honor of a person who tried to overthrow our democracy.😢

Been finding your songs by the Smith Island Ladies a wonderful blessing. My dad played one of their albums all the time when i was young. Dad passed away recently and these songs are reminders of precious memories. Thank You

Used to go to Crisfield every boat docking, but in 2022 the charge to get in was higher, no food vendors, no place to sit in the shade, the area at end of dock was roped off leaving a small space for all those people. Too crowded in that heat. merchandise was astronomical and the staff was rude as hell. Probably 2022 was our last one. Used to come up with 2 boatloads of friends loved going but the event lost the eastern shore environment. Felt like Baltimore s inner harbor. So we just go over to Deal Island the next day instead.

I wonder if there are any folks left that remember my Grandfather Capt. Zack Taylor from Wenona,Md,had the Skipjack names Anne Lee. I used to go scraping with him in 1956-58 at 3:30 in the morning when I was 5-8 yrs old.

Oh wow. I love that I have finally found this. Long ago they used come to People's Missionary Church when I was a little girl. I remember when they had camp meetings members from our church would go there and sing. I mentioned to someone at the museum were there any albums left or any converted to CDs. I said if someone could just find and put it on KZbin. I just happened to search tonight and am thrilled. I've been listening to all the songs posted and singing along what I can remember. My mom is recently moved from hospital to rehab unit and may not recover. I cannot wait to see her tomorrow and play these songs. She would play them all the time when I was younger. Thank you so much for doing this.
