Madam, I want to see a result of this plantation. If you can.

Very helpful! Have you tried leaving multiple stems before / how does that turn out?

I went with small plants to save money and labor and wide spacing because I think emerald arborvitae are nice as ornamentals and I don't like the look of them crowded and they don't grow healthy that way. My neighbor is a good guy, so I'm not despirately eager for a privacy barrier just yet. Plus I like watching them grow. I find they succeed transplanting when young and small better, too and I can control shaping and pruning without scalping as they mature.

Nice review but I've heard there's some trouble at Aerogarden and they're closing shop!? Anyone has a good alternative to suggest? I mean something with a good customer support, reliable plants, etc, not a cheap off-brand thing. I'm in it for the long run!

Click and grow is a way easier solution, I've been trying that out for a while, really nice gardens and their replacement policy is good.

Why do you remove the leaves around the plants? Don't they need mulch?

Hey i have a question. So as of writing this (late september) most strawberries has finished blooming throughout Denmark (the outdoor ones atleast) and i'm helping a friend in his garden and got permission to take one of the already-done-blooming strawberry plants home. I took the soil it came from (good and moist and active microbio) and re-planted it at home in a non-leak container. The plant already looked a little flat and tired, presumably because its finished for the season. Do you think it is still able to take hold and get back into it? or what do you think will happen. I uprooted it with surrouning soil so i would guess that it already has the establishment it needs together with soil it came from. I watered it enough to make the soil just barely wet and left it there. Do you think it will thrive again? it is placed by a window that recieves a few hours of direct sun and then passive daylight.

I bought lily at Walmart. Baulbs were in green plastic bag;so, I could not see them. Came home, opened bag and could not even determine where is top and where is bottom. Baulb itself dry and looks like rotten garlic. Clearance for $2. "You got what you paid for" ❤. Then finally I saw real ones, live plants in Home Depot in August. Of course I grabbed them, too. This time 5 for $25, but have immediate result in my garden. I thought they bloom in May -June. Was surprised to see them in August. What time of summer do your lilies bloom?

I don't know what I did wrong, but I only have 2 strong branches growing & I'd like it to be tall because it's behind a big agapanthus. Do you think cutting the 2 branches all the way to the ground in the fall will encourage more branches to come out from the base? I am in Zone 9, the bay area. Thank you!

One lily will have at least 2 "babies" out of same baulb. Just give some space considering this factor. They look good when they somewhat close to each other as a groop

@Elizabeth-if2kw4 ай бұрын
Pluck and toss them, you likely aren't familiar with the genus. When you report be careful to pull out and wood bits that are covered in white, that is the mycelium, the actual organism that creates the fruiting body (mushroom)
