My mother had a set of the original LTX ms's on her 2001 Montero sport and she got 134k miles out of them with mediocre upkeep and rotations. I was amazed and we verified against the original receipt from when she purchased them. I put a set of the Defender LTX ms's on my wifes car and they were wore out at 55k miles with proper tire and alignment maintenence. Go back to the original compound and I will recommend them to everyone and buy them for all my vehicles...

I've got two sets (of 4) for both our vehicles (Chevy Bolt FWD and VW Golf Sportwagen AWD) and I highly recommend them to family and friends. Both our grown sons have recently put them on their vehicles too. Delighted to see they were Made In Canada, how rare that's becoming. I suggested to Kaltire, where I purchased them - that they highlight the Canadian source. I'm sure other customers would zero in on this designed(?) and made-in-Canada winter tire if there was a notice on the tire rack display.

wanted to get these in NY today at Dunn tire...they said they didnt think they could get them so i ordered goodyear weatheready fror next week install..when i got home i called them back cause i really wanted these cross climate2 so he said he would call michelin he called back and said they are not in production right now...bummer i really am disappointed cant get these..why why im so sad now

Brought in Oct 2022, Love this thing. Excellent performance in summer, wet & snow conditions. Driven in -32°C on alot of snow with no issues as I live in Alberta Canada. Highly recommand.
