@@REDD-Spraythank you. Also, is the 2 oz size be better for most people for every day carry? I’ve seen some recommending at least a 2 oz size canister due to increased range, output and distance. Seems to have a better flip top and larger opening/ firing mechanism than keychain size canisters.

I guess, at the very least, you can use the (recently) expired canisters for practice, familiarity, and better skill using your fresh new cans. Ofc, it should go without saying, practice at your own risk!!!

It was the CS that effected his eyes. I was sprayed before OC pepper was even a thing. I 100% thought it was some type of acid. Problem with most OC is they use cheap pepper extracts. Fox Labs uses Ghost Pepper or Carolina Reaper to create the extract and they also sell a 16oz fogger with CS added. If there’s a more effective pepper spray out there I haven’t found it. The CS will immediately blind them and 10 seconds later the full burn of the OC takes effect

What exactly is your question? I will tell you this. Do you see all 4 pepper sprays? The one on the left is the most powerful, the one on the very right is the weakest. The 2 in the middle is debatable on which is more powerful. So what is your question?

@@DickRileyTheConquistador DB Solvent (Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether) It's a type of solvent. It's much weaker and not as intense as the TCE (Trichloroethylene) solvent. If you purchase 5.3, you must make sure it has the TCE solvent and not DB. However, everywhere I look it seems like 5.3 is DB based now. That's why it's safest to just buy 1.4. It has the TCE solvent and has double the pepper and double the heat of the original 5.3

Seems like aerosol spray would be preferable to gel. Gel provides extra range, but that makes aim more important, so additional range kinda seems like a pointless benefit if you’re in the heat of the moment. The only other benefit is the lower risk of blow-back, which is the much bigger perk, yet still not worth the trade off imo.
