Ian, I dont know if you are still reading your comments but i just wanted to let you know, that i allways come back to some of your videos from time to time. I love the raw acoustic touch and feeling you put into your RHCP covers. I really like your original composition work! Hey! Thank you so much for the kind words. I apologize for the delayed response. That really means a lot to me. I am playing and writing music everyday still, but haven't been very active online. A series of unfortunate events landed me back in my hometown after 10 years in California. I'm kinda in a "getting my shit together" phase. I will def put out some new shit soon. As far as requests would go I'd love to hear you do some Fleetwood Mac, I can imagine it would be quite difficult with them having the multiple vocalists and all. Sending some love from germany!

Really good cover. A little bit of a laryngeal instability and tension there on some of the high notes, but other than that it was good sound even though you are using a high-med position which is really hard to do without straining

Thank you Joseph! I had the pleasure of meeting Amos Lee a few years ago. I asked him for advice for an aspiring singer/songwriter. He told me, "Just keep going, man." That always stuck with me. Sing your heart. People have had the same feelings as you, and if you communicate them effectively in a song, it will resonate with those people. Have you finished any songs yet? @@johnmoshier3497 just get the basic "E form" barre chords in major and minor. That's pretty much the whole song. Just move those two shapes. Barre chords with the root on the low E string.

I'm not hating on this guy first off. This certainly takes a lot of courage and his voice isn't bad by any means but he simply lacks in emotion. This song is like having your heart slowly pulled from your chest and I'm not feeling like he really connected with that. Props on the cover though keep strummin.
