Tbh, I don’t remember. If anything, we smelled like smoke from the camp fire not the volcano itself. I just remember being really cold at night and dawn and exhausted 😅

Hi Stevie, loved the video. I'm solo travelling round Vietnam and Thailand next month, and was wondering how much of your plan was mapped out and how much off tidied you just do spontaneously. Do you think its best to have a proper plan, or just freestyle it a bit?

You’re going to have a great time! Honestly I didn’t have a set plan but I did have cities/activities I wanted do and worked my way there. Some places I stayed a bit longer and shorter depending on the vibe and how much time I had left. Hope this helps, safe travels!

I believe it’s called Hotel Divisadero. It’s the hotel right in front of the train stop so it’s very convenient because other places you have to walk or taxi there

Thanks for the vid! Hoping to go to the party this summer if covid will allow it. Quick question: did you use your phone to record? I read so many things where they say to not bring your phone or any other valuables because it'll get stolen, but I'd hate to leave that place without any pics/vids! How did you do this?

Yes I used my IPhone. I’ve heard the same as well but most people had their phones and I didn’t hear of anyone from the hostel getting their phones stolen. The shorts I was wearing had a zipper! I definitely didn’t want to go to there without taking videos or pictures for memories. Happy travels!
