Is Moe on medicine to get rid of the abcess? Or is that something that has to manually be worked on? Poor guy. You can tell he doesn't feel well. 😢

@@malapoyo there is stuff they can take for pain, like Tylenol. But my vet says that prolongs the infection. It's best to let it be and it will work itself out. The other option is sometimes you can see the abscess through X-rays and then a vet or farrier can dig it out. To release the pressure. But often times, it just requires time. It sucks to see them uncomfortable though. I agree. 😕

Also! He's already doing much better. It must have burst, in the last couple of days. He's walking perfectly again. 😊

@@donnawood3505 they are constantly moving. And with lots of hay given, that helps their bodies to stay warm.

@@bojigirl5672 she grows her own thick winter coat and doesn't need one. If I were to put one on, she would sweat which would cause more problems. She's very warm to the touch. And they are given extra hay to keep them warm too.

Your property & horses are beautiful. People always buy clothes for dogs & I have a few for mine for cuteness but yeah their clothes are built in 🤭

@@SallyLaBaume Ohhh I love this question! And I'll have to make a video about that soon. Thank you!!! Moe recently had a huge Cushing's flare up... And he was Soo achy that he couldn't move. He spent many days not moving and had troubles holding his feet up for the farrier. So when he finally got trimmed, the farrier took off a lot of sole. With X-rays, he knew how much was allowed to be removed. So as a hoof protection and to give Moe some extra comfort, my vet recommended the "Cloud Boots". And they are seriously incredible! Moe believes they are magical boots 😁 Hope this answers your question, and THANK YOU for watching my video!!! 🤗

“Turn your body” this just goes to show that horse back riding isn’t just sitting there. You have to ride with your whole body! Become one with the horse. This was very nice to watch. Thanks for posting! Teamwork makes the dream work.
