I’ve been watching Kelly Slater surf for years. I never knew he could sing too! Wish I could have heard more, but the screams ruined it. I always enjoy JJ’s performances. He’s great!

The Rolling Stones were playing in Honolulu in January of 98’. Keith Richards disappeared for 2 or 3 days before the first show, no one could find him. The Triple Crown of Surfing had ended but Kelly Slater and most Pro Surfers usually stay in Hawaii for the winter surf. The Stones actually asked Kelly to play guitar if Keith doesn’t show up. About an hour before the concert started, Keith Richards finally shows up, he had been at a cock fight tournament for those missing days and didn’t bother letting anyone know.
