Fantastic footage, these were the halcyon years when Celtic could hold their own with any club in world football, looking back now with thanks to all the wonderful and rare footage on youtube the younger generations can see for themselves that all the stories Dads and uncles told them were actually true and not something out of roy of the rovers.

Honestly, we were lucky to get him on loan. As much as it pains me to admit, he was just too good for Celtic at that particular time.

Some very good players on display even great players. Fantastic atmosphere.Not sure when the divide between Scottish and english football started but it was great when scotland could produce teams that were more than competetiv. Football was miles better back then!!

YEA THE CROWDS WERE VERY LOW IN THE LATE 70S EARLY 80S .I CAN REMEMBER CELTIC GETTING AROUND 12000 FOR GAMES LIKE THIS ETC .MAYBE LOWER .HIBS WERE DOWN TO ABOUT 3000 .RANGERS ABOUT 10000

It was a throw in to rangers.but that didn't cause the goal it was mistake by Stevens at the back he put it on a plate for miller if he would have played that right back to woods we wudnt be taking about the throw in I remember it was a terrible final hardly any chances big Roy aitken taking a corner in the last min he just kicked it into the celtic end 😂😂
