Hey i just found your channel i think its so funny you used the phrase clutching at straws because thats literally what i said over and over during my search for the “Paul” character, I had no last name to go on, just the first name Paul and a bunch of dates and locations I could loosely tie him to.

the game is completly broken and there are so many gamebreaking bugs guys its unplayable do not even bother stay away from it.

Its worth getting in good with the bishop besides the fact that his opinion of you helps with the church so you can buy armor and speed run early game AND he can educate your children so you dont have to do it yourself use that extra time to read knowledge and focus on temple it should be your first unlock and first build if even possible sometimes game is wonky with knowledge

I know this is 10 months too late and you probably worked it out anyway, but if not and in case you play again in future, you can see your free staff slots from the staff pages were you were, with the row of people icons next to 'Trainers', 'Physios', etc. White icons are staff you already have, the greyed ones are the free slots.
