I made the grave mistake of buying a pair of 2020 570 Sportmans back in the spring...one has almost 1100 miles, the other has around 700 miles. And it is on the shop once again. Let's see..heres a short list... Plastics dont stay together, Rear brake master cylinder broke (literally) Spark plug isnt sealed well so water gets to it very easily and shorts out the engine Had to replace the starter relay Had to replace the throttle lever Headlight/taillight wiring isnt sealed or protected from anything (even my 2006 kodiak is sealed and protected) And currently it is back in the shop because it shut off on me this weekend and wouldnt restart. I always use 93 grade gas, and use polaris oil and filters. Btw, the oil filter is shitty to get to, easy to burn your arm on the exhaust pipe right above it Battery is mostly unprotected and rides low in the front of the frame instead of under the seat where it should be Control wire on the handlebars arent sealed (dont pressure wash it) Belt drive drain plug is cheap and you have to baby it to get it out Oil dipstick is a pain in the butt to get out, not enough room for my hand and I have small hands. Polaris is PURE JUNK. My 2006 Yamaha Kodiak is built better.

The Jiang Dong is coming out swinging (lol) currently off the bike for some serious internals (cam, rod, flywheel, 14cc head and more). I'm waiting for a bike like yours to come back on the market but have 3 very modified small tire bikes I'm constantly building. This little bad boy is going to haul and has 15 inch tires on the way too. Its going to be set up for dirt track racing. Target 7000 RPM, higher compression, aggressive ramp cam and everything needed to handle it.

Not here. Always been cheap. The 850s and 1000s are expensive but the 450 and 570s are cheap. At least they were when I worked at the dealer. My buddy bought a brand new 570 with bumpers, winch and a lot of other accessories including a plow and only paid around 7500. They are a great machine for the money

@buletpoint yeah since then I have stopped doing that..but I was nervous when I installed the new filter because..where I ride its so sandy and dusty..but I will say I have been cleaning and oiling the filter every other ride and after I shot this video when I went to clean.. the pre filter was charcoal black..and the new filter was perfect 👌..so idk it worked/helped but I felt like a goof ball doing it lol.

@freedomoff_road89554 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the person the Honda is a 420 and the sportsman is a 570 efi atleast mine is..my personal opinion out of the 2..is the sportsman is better. The best thing to do is to go out and try them out for yourself if possible or do plenty of research.

Great video. Love my 570 as well. 2 years and zero issues! However, you should know... the Polaris power steering shuts off at speeds above 15 mph. Basically because of exactly what you stated in your video, and at speeds higher than 15mph, power steering is basically worthless anyways. However, when riding tight trails and sharp corners, especially on all day rides, that EPS will save you from a world of sore forearms after every ride 👍.
