In my young days, I sailed "Lady of Solent", another C35. In the video, the sail upwind looks nice and smooth, I can tell you that downwind, it's another story!

We had one as a kid. Great cruising boat. Comfortable and fast. Pretty stable for coastal ocean cruising.

The N400 was updated and became the N405 between 2006 - 2009. Same hull. Update includes: A taller rig. Mast above DWL: 18.5 m / 60.7 ft Deeper draft: 2.1m / 6.89 ft Shallow draft option: 1.9m / 6.23 ft

There is one major problem with this boat. The problem is that you need to purchase two of them. One to put in a giant Carcoon so you can look at whenever you want to but will never have to worry about it because it will pretty much be preserved forever. The second boat you use the way it was intended to be used. You sail it around the world, beat the daylights out of it and enjoy it to the fullest. Yes, of course you take great care of it but it will never look again like the one in the Carcoon. BTW, for anyone wondering what a Carcoon is, here is the link: www.carcoon.com/carcoon-free-standing-workstation I have had one for ten years and they are incredible. You can also have them make custom sizes for boats , cars and even planes. Thanks for sharing, gorgeous boat, BTW, I'm an old salt : )
