Just a tip from a fountain pen user: If your ink is watery, it's probably not very saturated with the ink dyes. Some people like this; I do not. This can happen for two reasons: either there just isn't a lot of dye in the ink, or the dye has settled to the bottom. Usually, though, its just low dye content. Ink reviewer Mountain of Ink is a great resource if you're trying to find a specific ink for a specific purpose. She notes things like saturation and how prone the inks are to smudging. All that being said, I generally use a permanent felt-tip india ink pen for my grimoire, since it's waterproof and light fast.

I have a lot of cross outs in my books this is a part of the nature of the book. You add , subtract , update , change. These are learning notes like in school. We are always learning.

Thank you so much! I loved your explanation between right beliefs and right actions. That's a hard concept for many people in my family to look at. A book of shadows or grimoire didn't rest well with me, but I've always been an avid artist and journal-keeper. Finding out there's a practice called a book of mirrors is much more in line with what comes to me naturally. I look forward to learning more from your practice!
