i havent found any alarmist that can honestly answer this question; "whats the ideal sea level when tectonic plate movement causes the volume of the oceans to constantly be altering?" got a whole list of related questions... then theres that fun bit of watching ice cubes melt in a cup filled to the brim with water... whatever. if someones making mega dollars, all is good, huh?

Can you stop pretending that this is some kind of new phenomenon? The ice has been melting for 10,000 years uninterrupted. The melt was vastly greater during the first 6,000 years. It slowed dramatically during the last 2000 years and we're experiencing a slight up tick over the last 140 years. It's rising at 3.4mm per year which can hardly be characterized as apocalyptic or even a crisis. Natural shore erosion has been causing far greater damage and we simply adapt to this reality. During this entire 10,000 year period and especially over the last 200 years, life flourished. Humanity's greatest advancements in quality of life occurred during this 200 year period. How do you reconcile this with your fear mongering?
