Idk what controller you have for the playthrough but the L and R buttons let you do action commands they can help reach ledges that are just out of reach.

I keep forgetting about this! As far as I know they don’t teach you in game but it’s in the manual. Usually it takes 4-5 deaths before I remember it exists lol

obeisance is actually a word and refers to making physical gestures of deference eg bowing, though it's obviously not a common word today. Characterization choice, she likes these types of words and tends towards the indirect, both which fit her character.

Oh yeah, this is about as far as I got when I was just a wee lad the bottomless pits in dimps sonic games are especially egg-regious in Advance 2 and 3

oh, wat, I forgot to mention this but I just remembered, pressing R and a directional button after being launched into the air from something like a launch ramp or a spring will let you do a trick. for example if you press up and do a trick, Sonic will reach up slightly higher into the air, which can be very useful sometimes

second best sonic volcano level imo of course, my favorite one is Lava Reef Zone, so it would be a very uphill battle

LMAO you actually cheesed that fight with i-frames, that's amazing also, as you might have guessed, getting all the emeralds before this fight will grant access to the true final boss with Super Sonic though sadly he isn't playable in the normal stages like he used to be, all the way until Sonic Colors (the wii one, but the DS version does get its own doomsday zone equivalent as well)

Also wild u don't try to catch a Gengar for the ghost dominance/coverage in gen 1. I also don't do these kind of playthroughs so I probably am being an asshole don't mind me lol. Great fuckin series though regardless, I've very much enjoyed the ride

No worries! In a nuzlocke you can only catch the very first Pokémon you encounter in a route :)

Wow bro u straight fell the fuck apart vs Gary. Ice beats Charizard flying, water beats Nidoking ground, and u seem under leveled so that was rough to watch especially considering u lost 2 key part members lol

@@BradoPlaysGames yeah, especially the icicles dimps didn't program the hit detection properly on those things, apparently doesn't help that sonic's jump physics are really slow & way past too floaty when underwater...

small tip that it seems like you never noticed: ever since Sonic 2, you can spin dash by holding down + b and charging it up by pressing b a few more times

it feels like the randomizer only randomized which trainers get what in a given set per area or something... but yeah, I'd just continue anyway unless the same pokemon keep showing up and nothing can be done about it it'd be a waste to just restart with the encounter seeds being this good so early on

yeah, some bug made it so ghost moves don't affect psychic-types instead of being super effective but apparently Night Shade still works, probably because it doesn't take any particular type into account when calculating damage so there's that I guess
