Wow this one brought back memories that I thought it was my sister’s fault. Instead of the mom I said my sister and I ended crying and comprehend her and me at that moment. Thank u ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

The way the mother takes the harsh criticism in the first 10 min is hurtful! And to think how esay it is for us to judge ourselves and put ourselves down the way she is doing with herself because of the stabbing words/opinion of - especially! - someone we love.Only to find out in the end that the son finds out that she is, in fact, courageous, faithful, brave! Totally opposite to what he believed her to be in the beginning. Meaning: Do check even yourself (let alone all others) when they label you. Do the WORK!, for God's sake.

This is the most sad, heartbreaking episode I have ever seen. It is now 2020 and I have never forgotten this, one. I watch it often and never comment because I am waiting to better internalize The Work" and am always wishing I could better understand, without judgment. I do have not. Guess in this case, that isn't going to happen. I cannot get over this one. (Bryon has been open about accepting how her son may feel, and I am wondering if she allowed this poor lady to get so B -slapped by her middle aged son, so badly, because somehow, she may feel that she herself (Katie) deserves it?). Anyone else on the show, has one or two examples, to work through. This son had many demeaning examples. Personal Value examples, that's rough to the core. In my heart, this son was too willing, with any and all means possible. to break his mother down. Mothers never want to look weak to their boys. They can almost kill us, and we will take it. I believe she is a victim of abuse, and neglect, by her own son. Sons have an innate power over their mothers that only mothers can understand. We do need them, just the wrong word? Sons have powers over their mothers, and when they use that as a way to break them, it is cruel and manipulative. He was criticizing her and still she stuck up for him. Mothers are not mothers first. They are people who are individuals with their own crazy closets, needing to sift through and fear through like everyone else in the world. I really hope that son has become her hero, and to others is his life. I really hope that he has become his own hero too. Not fear that she may need him to take care of her, but rather proud she needs him and that he can. I am also concerned that if she were in a bad relationship, she will pretend she not and that is again control, by not being allowed to be yourself. Mother is very strong, something in which men did not much appreciate, from those days. She also goes without appreciation, for too long. Sorry for rambling I can do the work in all episodes, except this one. Sadness stops the mind from working, I guess. I'm crying by the first five minutes and just cant work the rest properly. Best to you all. Excellent work to you all. Life is such a journey and mind blowing. Best of luck to you all. I must keep practicing the 'Work" Thank you.

Hello! Thank you so much for sharing your approach. I just returned from the 9 day school the work and I’m wondering how/when/if to introduce the work to my 14-year-old nephew who’s about to enter high school. Your approach really seems to get kids to open their mind. I’m not sure how to do that one on one as I’m not an educator or certified facilitator. Any suggestions would be helpful especially with timing. Thank you so much again for sharing these effective techniques.
