can someone explain to me how to distinguish the generation of vocaloids? do they differ by the programs with which they were created or by years? because I often see, for example, the voice of Miku v1 or v3 and I just don't quite understand what the difference is, although I've been listening to vocaloids for quite a long time

KAITO、VOCALOIDを初めて知った時から声がとても好きですぐに最推しになった そこからどんどん調べたら、初代KAITOの売上が全く伸びなかったこと知って、すごくショックを受けた。 初代KAITOの包み込む様な歌声のやわらかさも好きだし、V3のハッキリとしてそれでいて昔の柔らかさも感じる爽やかな歌声、両方大好き。 KAITO兄さんは失敗作なんかじゃない！ 限界オタクが失礼しました。
