I wanna go to nursing school.

I’m feeling so much better about my school too ❤ I started my program in September At first it was just such a shock to me. I’m in fundamentals too! I wish I knew a better way to study tho. I have to write down or at least type to remember all this information 😂 Will you do a updated video of how you study in fundamentals if you can no pressure at all because I know how busy nursing school is ❤❤ Keep chasing your dreams!! ❤️❤️❤️

It really do be like that. I’m 22 but I still feel like im just approaching 18, which is the time when the pandemic happened and also the time I was about to enter college. It felt like my mind has hit the pause button and its still not sinking in that i’m in my twenties. Until I entered medical school last year and unfortunately failed one subject, anatomy, which removed me from the program. That was such a harsh reality that punched me in the face since unlike my batchmates thats already working and earning, i’m here failing med school. It is depressing, the years since pandemic up until now has been very devastating for me, but I’m starting to realize that age really is just a number as long as you’re following your dreams and living your life. And really, you look so beautiful for a 27 year-old pursuing nursing school AND with a family at that. I think im rambling but I wish you and your family well and the best of luck with nursing school! ❤

I used to wake up in a panic thinking a paper was due that i forgot. Just be steady. You got this.

It doesn’t for a while. Then one day life blind sides you with something so traumatic that you have the mortality epiphany that you’re old, you’re going to die and maybe you just don’t care anymore if you do. Then everything is a party after that. Work, live, sleep, repeat, yay.

They’re just trying to scare everyone and hype it up. Remember the people around you in nursing school aren’t geniuses or they would be doctors. Yeah it’s hard but you just need to put in effort and show commitment. And don’t forget the cardinal rule…never say anything about nursing is easy and always exaggerate how difficult and stressful everything is. You got it down already.

Finished my first week of school! (I can only take 2 classes per semester this first year for my pre-reqs). Already have the latin/greek terms of body regions, anatomical position, the planes, feedback mechanisms and what they do, alllllll memorized! Needless to say, I am very excited and hopeful to do well! I'm gonna drop the 'people's cubital' on these courses! Hope you are as excited for your classes as I am for mine!

Good luck with school! I have 7 weeks left in my first year of nursing school and I remember during orientation thinking just how crazy everything seems, but it's pretty easy to get into the groove. Be ready to dedicate a lot of time to studies, I'm known for canceling plans now and not being able to do anything besides school lol
