Wow. I graduated from Scumbag Poly in 1981 and 8 years later it looks so different. The clip of the bar at Frenchay campus looks the same- unmistakable bare brickwork. The union officers sound much more practical, assertive and articulate than the Leninist nutters in charge when I was there. Fuck me - we never had a black tie ball when I was there - a sign of how the country had changed and become more aspirational

Depends when this was filmed. I studied at UWE from 2014-2017 and there were days when the uni was packed, and days when it was deserted.

Have you any experience being in there? Curious on how it is there, kinda hard to find info/video on this. I'm worried I'll be the only one in class lol 🤣

@@BS34BY I saw the Arnolfini a few times. I really enjoyed one time when a bunch of novelists gave a talk about their books. Good stuff. I studied English literature in S Block in Frenchay. I actually had experiences in uni when I was the only student in class. If anything, the teachers respect and like you more, and you get loads of private tutoring from them. UWE is a very good uni, and it's getting better.
