Thank you! ❤ I started Flylady by watching Diane in Denmarks baby step videos. Every year since, I replay those videos, just to see if there are any steps I have forgotten that may help. Today, her video was about 5 minute room rescue. I completely forgot that baby step, and I don’t imagine i will incorporate it into my journey this year. However, during the month I may find something that helps. Cheers! See you next time!❤❤❤

Just a funny note: I would guess that many people under 30 would recognize an index card as the flash cards for vocabulary in elementry and high school. And, the only size piece of paper is that a teacher will allow notes to be written on to be used during a test.

You guys sound so much like my family. LOL I have lived in my current house for almost 30 years. I spent 28 of them "getting ready to move any day" and basically "not living in it just existing in it". Then one day my husband and I just decided today was the day. Are we staying or going and we are staying so we are now all in with making it our home by making it look like we are staying instead of at any moment ready to pack up and leave. So we started last year and will continue this year renovating the whole house. Nothing super fancy but new floors, fixed walls lol, painting, gutting a bathroom etc.. basically I want to make it pretty and more functional. Just like you guys. Went around the house room by room that needs to be done and just going to start checking them off. Thanks for sharing! I wish you both the very best on your "we are staying" adventure!

Impressive!❤ Thanks for sharing! This month, my zone cleans are reduced down to only doing what’s necessary. On the weekend, I cleaned the fridge and freezer before grocery shopping, and just a few surface areas everyone will see who enters our house. Have a wonderful week!❤❤❤

I've been planning to start this for a few months now. I got a vintage 4" x 6" index card box and cards so I could also keep weekly cash in it. Now, I just have to go through the tasks and make the cards. Getting those dividers was quite difficult and pricey - I didn't realize this stuff would be so hard to find. Your work-around was very clever!

I think Autumn and Christmas need to be separated by a different season so we have time to enjoy them longer LOL They are my favorite too. Fall doesn't seem to last very long any more sadly. Good morning! ❤ Before I got dressed this morning, I put our Christmas tree skirt in the washer, as this week I plan to put it up. I vacuumed the bedrooms before Dan got up, so I don’t disturb Jetta later! 😂 As for tips when you are struggling, I prioritize rest and self care. Stick with just basic daily routines. Hope you feel better soon!❤❤❤

When I was out in the cold damp Nova Scotia air this morning, I thought of a few things that have helped me. 1. I try not to run myself completely out of energy. Not easy to do, but I try! 😂 2. Every morning, I do a ~10 minute meditation, after Jetta gets fed and I start the coffee. 3. I do a short yoga almost every morning. 5-12 minutes. 4. I try to walk every morning. 5. I try not to talk to anyone until these things are done. Except Jetta! 😂 6. I’ve been known to finish a short task and then lay down for 2 hours before doing another! 7. Know what time of day is “your time”. I’m wasted late in the day. Thankfully, Dan can cook. So if I’m cooking, I use my trusted crock pot! I find mornings I don’t do these things, I feel worse.
