Interesting video. Marbella is a nice place to live, I imagine.

I used to do all my long runs at draycote and ive grown to hate the place 😂😂 Well done mum, smashed it. When the wind howls there its not the easiest place to run 💪

Well done bud. I'm guessing you passed me somewhere on the run :) probably the first lap :) Barcelona is a great first full distance race. Your comments on the bike were interesting; a lot of people do ask if they can avoid long training rides and just do a few 1 hour rides. Your comment about aching towards the shows why that's not a good idea.

Thanks mate. Was a great experience and enjoyed it a lot. Although won't be doing another for a while. Completely agree with you. If I was to go back and change anything it would be adding in more distance on those bike rides to better prepare me. And also I would probably have invested in a better bike as well!

Yo bro I am starting out hybrid training and would like to know if doing 8km on my long aerobic base runs that last me about 55mins okay doing 3x a week? Any insight and info would be super helpful my bro
@jackcraddocktraining9 ай бұрын
I would vary my running distances and tailor it more so towards what your goal is. I would always have 1 run which is long and slower. 1 run at moderate distances but a quicker pace and then one interval session. That would work well if you’re running 3 x a week. From there I would look to increase the distance on each one 👌
@majidahmad5599 ай бұрын
@@jackcraddocktraining thanks for reply so when you say interval session as one of your sessions you do per week how is that structured? Also compre your shorter distance but faster run to your long run how fast do you go and what distance do you cover? Thanks mate
@jackcraddocktraining9 ай бұрын
@@majidahmad559 So my intervals would be something along the lines of. 1KM warm up. 400m x 10 (60 sec rest after each interval). These are quick and almost like a sprint. Longer run will be nice and steady so conversational pace and making sure heart rate is roughly 130-140bpm on average. The shorter run is more at a race pace/ 85% intensity.
