I used to listen to this song when the boys were little , they’re bigger now and I still feel the same when I hear this song, their father will never know how great they are

just hearing the opening notes is enough to start the tears welling and by the end of the song, every time, I'm sobbing. such a beautiful love letter to a lost child. may all who find solace in this song find peace in their hearts.

This song has come full circle for me... I first listened to it while battling depression in 2016, last listened to it while standing on a chair ready to kick it, not knowing I was pregnant at the time. I came here to comment this because my daughter, whom I was pregnant with at that time, is quietly singing this in her room right now

Yeah, I mean instead of rounding up at the check out to all these supposed organizations that literally do not actually use your money for good use like they say (they just use your heart strings to guilt you) put that to here instead. Waiiiiit.. does the proceeds actually go to helping the band members? Was this just the ting to the spit jar of irony?

I hope that you like it in your little motel And I hope that the suite sleeps and suits you well Well, I can see it as time and a sight through smell and That's why it's nice to be by yourself 'Cause that's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for, aren't I? That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for, darlin' We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well, I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this 'Cause that's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for, aren't I? That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for, darlin' We trade tit for tat like that for this And I don't think that there was an insult that was missed I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and I'm very sorry 'Cause that's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for, aren't I? That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for That's what I'm waiting for, darlin' Remainders of a shooting star Landed directly on our broke down little car Before then, we had made a wish That we would be missed If one or another just did not exist 'Cause that's what we're waiting for That's what we're waiting for That's what we're waiting on, aren't we? That's what we're waiting for That's what we're waiting for That's what we're waiting on, aren't we? That's what we're waiting for That's what we're waiting for That's what we're waiting for, darlin' That's what we're waiting for That's what we're waiting for That's what we're waiting for, aren't we?

Why do we need to have everything monetized? Can we go back to all advertising for a product is free and then I buy the album and show tickets when released? I am so fucking poor. I live in less space than his amps. I can only afford to eat cabbage. Why Issac? Your music is anti-capitalism but this isn't. What happened to Satellite Skin?

I can't tell if you people are being serious or if you just want to pearl clutch for your luxury beliefs. I mean I guess if you lived in an impoverished country I could understand, but if you can't squeeze out less than 50 cents a day then you seriously need to reevaluate your life.
@badeline99674 ай бұрын
@@Bobby_Rib reevaluate your life in the sense of washing more dishes for some asshole chef (past-isaacs own words) instead of working on living? Concentrating more on how to win the race, even if winning is just a carrot on a stick for some people? I don't judge Isaac or the band morally, because I don't know anything about their financial situation and options to earn money while doing what they love, but this new invention of a subscription-based product coming from my favorite band that normally provides me an escape still feels icky at least, and breath taking at worst (wasn't in my best mental state as I already felt hopeless and like I couldn't continue to live as part of this endstage-capitalist society when I got the newsletter). And yes, even if you're too ignorant to believe this, some people in rich countries can't squeeze out an additional 10€/month or 120€/year, even if they're smart with their money (you're 50 cents/day math sucks and belongs to iphone-forums).
