I think the thing is that there was color in the '80's....clothes had bright colors, cars had colors, homes had bright carpeting and furniture with detail-things on them! And everything was sold with a jingle, and you could still go to Sears! Tell me what was wrong with the '80's!

That GE dishwasher commercial must have been played a lot. Remembered it immediately eventually though it has not been on in decades.

People say, I'm stuck in the past. Especially younger people. It's so TRUE!! Because I pretty much only watch stuff from the 70s & 80s (movies, TV shows, cartoons and commercials vidoes). Music, too. And, I'm proud of it. 👍😎 I tell them, that's because you weren't around yet so, you missed out. They were great days. Probably one of the greatest decade ever.

0:00 The voice-over on this Apple IIC commercial is provided by Ed Grover. You'll also know his voice from all those "Visa... it's everywhere you want to be" ads in the 80s and 90s.

At 04:24, that was news anchorwoman Jessica Savitch. She sadly passed away after a car she was in with a man and her dog from off the road during a rainy night after leaving a local restaurant and everyone in the car died from drowning. I'll never forget when that happened.

Dang I love these but now I feel old and who doesn't wish we still had some of these food products and grocery prices i was small during most of these being born in the early 80s..but I think I like these cause of just nicer simpler times and man wish fast food was good and cheap again that .35¢ whopper reminded me of a time when mom and I and maybe my stepdad ate really well for once and it might've been that burger deal..back then restraunts put people ahead of profit and tried to have affordable deals even for poor families..good luck now..but I guess this is the closest thing to a way back machine without Peabody we can get lol

I wish I could skim all of these. I worked with someone who was in these commercials and her brother was, too, and he was the teenager in On Golden Pond. Not a biggie, but it would be a laugh...

Being able to watch these classic commercials again after 30-40 years is really special. So many memories, so many special times. Each commercial can bring up a certain memory. And it reminds us of how great we had it back then. And how much we miss it!

I couldn't stand them then, but now they relax me???? How does that happen??? I actually think that commercials were great because they would give you just enough time to go the bathroom, run to the kitchen to grab a snack and a soda and run back hoping you didn't miss anything! 😂😂😂😂 Thanks for uploading these gems! 🤩🤩🤩

I was going to comment this myself. When I was recording my shows, movies, etc. on my old 📼📼VHS📼Beta📼📼 tapes I tried to always edit out or pause the tapes during the commercials. But now, looking back at all of the past items, toys, shows, movies, foods, and whatnot, it brings back so many wonderful childhood memories. I used to love Saturday mornings for the cartoons and shows like Land of the Lost, the Banana Splits, and others. My favorite however is and always will be the Bugs Bunny/Road-Runner Show. But as to your comment, it is ironic how back then we didn't want to watch them yet now we search them out and spend hours watching them. It shows to me anyway, just how good we had it, and how much we actually miss it.
