Something I enjoy about your exploration videos is seeing the difference in design and furnishing in American houses, and different regions of America, compared to what I'm familiar with. Like that cool lighting setup in the kitchen, or the use of ceiling fans. Considering the brown colour of that white wine it's very much gone off, or as I sometimes jokingly call it "aged to perfection". 8:28 As another commentor has said, it's an Indian desk set consisting of a letter opener and some other desk implement (maybe even a second letter opener) and stand, usually made of teak.

The Bldgs' interiors are aged & ravaged by neglect. I'm glad that they've been spared by vandals & so-called "artists"; aka, loser graffiti hooligans.

That was interesting what are they planning on doing with the neighborhood? Those houses look like they have been abandoned for a while. There was also one shot you took with the sky in it that was beautiful. Overall cool explore. That smell had to be really bad. I wonder what the blood was from and that one house I can’t believe they just left all the mags outside 🤦♂️

@Bloodrocutioner10 күн бұрын
@@kylesmith4202 unfortunately my guess is more apartments 🙃 there is a public hearing notice that was held. It was an old part of town. The blood im assuming was probably from an animal most likely since they looked to be hunters of sort. I believe it lol they'll throw ANYTHING outside of a house and just leave it lol.

@Jamestheexplorer1 I'm not entirely sure. I still need to do part 2 of the brick mansion. I may just squeeze it into the videos of the rest of the homes depending on how much footage I have. I just dropped the first brick mansion video a few weeks ago of when Abby and I first found it. They just demolished these places 2 days ago

I live pretty much across the highway behind the pepboys. This area used to be aw3some. We had everything. Masters Bowling Alley, krispy Kreme, PuttPutt, theater, kmart, shoneys, cvs, pizzaHutt, Dominos, Krystal's, 7eleven, a music instrument store, army marines navy and air force recruitment, honky tonk, and more. All of those ar3 all gone now. Now theres just meth heads, drunks, ghetto/trailer trash and homeless people sleeping on the curbs.

Back around 2010 that mall was still in great shape, except for a few smashed mall directory signs (that would have told us where what was located in 2001/02 when it closed down). It was a perfect time capsule as it had never been remodeled and turned to the all white drab and boring that befell so many malls in the late 80s and 90s. It had a beautiful bright orange tiled Montgomery Wards sign as well as many others from my childhood. That mall would have made an excellent movie set, or just preserved as the vandals hadn't done too much damage to it and the roof while bad in spots wasn't causing complete ruin. So it's heartbreaking to see it in the shape it is in this video.
@Urbicide5 күн бұрын
It would have made a great set for filming The Walking Dead if it still had the interior. I worked at Petland back in 1979. It was located next to Montgomery Ward on the second level. Chic-fil-A was almost directly across from us. It is sad seeing what happened to it, but then again Augusta is run by Democrats.

I don't live in a true hurricane area so pardon my lack of knowledge, but if this was flooded by a hurricane a couple years ago, why is it still flooded? It just didn't go away?
@Jamestheexplorer118 күн бұрын
The area has a low elevation and it's prone to getting flooded also because it's right on a river, it was originally destroyed from the hurricane and at the time it definitely flooded but the reason it was flooded during this video is because I went a day after a huge storm and it flooded pretty quickly

I've seen Skinwalkers, shadow people (so many of them), dogman and more I won't bother naming bc you wouldn't believe it anyway.
