This happens to be veal because a calf foundered and died. We used some of it for ourselves, but other parts went to the dogs, because we didn't have the freezer space. Also, there is a funny taste and texture to meat with the animal founders and dies, IMO. The dogs loved it. Sometimes we feed them chicken or guinea. Other times its deer, rabbit, or raccoon, whatever the hunting season it. They eat eggs, sweet potato, carrots, blueberries, and other things that we produce on our homestead. They love my leftover cornbread and other table scraps. Thanks for the question!
