Flora it took me a lot of videos to realize you had 2 brothers because they are both tall and rarely appear in the same videos - sorry. You seem to be quite close with Leon. I have noticed sometimes sibling who are close in age are competitive, and sometimes those farther apart in age get along better. Leon seems to be a very respectful and well mannered young man, plus he is not shy in front of the camera like Alwin. I am sure Alwin is a nice boy, just more of an introvert.

Using the filler word "like" is a very bad habit. I follow a Korean Canadian international couple and the Canadian wife says like in pretty much in every single sentence - sometimes multiple times in one sentence. Believe it or not she was a teacher too. For years I had to train myself to consciously make sure I never fell into that habit. You two don't use the word that much.

When it comes to learning a language you need to start with a class, tutor, or some formal platform. You need to learn the grammar and language rules, and some vocabulary. You need the base first. Then you learn how to use it in everyday life. If you only learn by speaking to peers and watching kdramas you will never learn to speak it properly. Setting a base will make your life much easier in the long run.

Lovely love story! Similar story with me and my boyfriend. I also live in Korea. I have for almost 5 years. My boyfriend and I communicate in English mainly as my Korean is rusty and I don’t have confidence. But when I meet his friends or family it feels a little sad because maybe he has a hard time translating. Do you have any advice on how I can study Korean? I have textbooks & I have some videos saved on KZbin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We will get married next year so I want to improve my Korean for better communication and also for his family. Beautiful couple ❤
