Thank you very much for this beautiful and descriptive video. Now I have a much better idea of what my recorder looks like inside and how it actually works. I am currently play in my first wooden tenor flute and can now understand much better why this has to be done slowly and carefully.

工学部時代に家業で木工旋盤を扱っていた同級生が居た。彼はリコーダーを作り、チューニングもしていた。フランス・ブリッヘンが来日したときに、見せたとか言っていたが、どのような評価を受けたのだろう。

Fantastic survey, thank you. It seems that only those recorders were everything is made by hand ever sound remotely like the original instruments. A good craftsman is still more precise than a machine? At least in some (crucial) regards…

Hi, first of all I would like to thank this beautiful educational video about Recorders, your work is very inspiring. What type of stain and oil do you use in this process? I'm using Recorders and Fujara wind-way making videos for other kinda instrument from my country and also instruments that reproduces bird sounds too and wanted to try using this kind of method that you're using it.

This piece and the rest of the concert are wonderful, both for the music itself and the skill with which it is played. But it's especially thrilling to be able to hear one of the world's finest recorder makers play an instrument he crafted himself. Bravo!
