In my opinion, this one pedal should be a new sketch of 'Handboards' for musicians. Maybe sounds reasonable that the feet are more proper to control something on the air or just switching on/off effects but having this kind of magic (Zoia) brings a whole new apartment into the musician's rig.

Someone needs to create a software editor... It would make creating and editing patches so much easier... Trying to tweak things on that tiny screen while holding your guitar is a royal PITA... Software with a simple module drag and drop on the signal path would do the trick... Make it happen... 🙂

Zoia needs a software editor to make patch creation and patch editing so much easier than having to do it on the box with a tiny screen...especially when users have their instuments in their hands... Further, without an editor, it's ridiculous to have it on the floor and neeeds to be tabletop for access... If Empress doesn't do it, someone else will create a modular effects creator that does have a software editor... Empress isn't being very smart about this...

I just got a under Zoia. Is there a way to update to 5 and do a factory reset type thing? I know nothing about Zoia

Is the +14% CPU power only available in the white edition?

Now that we're onto V5, How about a full-fledged sample-based drum machine, all in one module? Or a sample/synth hybrid drum machine in one module? What about a simple virtual analog synth with a sequencer, as a module? Or, maybe an entire 'virtual pedal' with a mix of effects in a single module? Would be no problem to have them require a full page, or multiple pages. Could also get creative with graphics, filling any unused buttons with a single color, as per usual.

Interesting.....but frankly, the jazz drumming and editing are a bit frustrating and confusing.........I'm sure it's awesome, but I feel it needs to be better presented for us to be 'seriously' interested and pulling the trigger......

Getting algorithms from other Empress pedals makes the Zoia more interesting from a general-use, guitar perspective, sort of an Eventide H90 for weirdos (a term of endearment).

Awesome! All that is missing for me now is a category of dedicated 'controller/performance' modules -- sliders, buttons, switches, faders, latching, momentary, keyboard, etc. -- instead of having to sort of sub-program them from bits of other modules. Would love setting up the first-pages of patches as control panels for performing and tweaking.

Nice! Would be cool if you released a new Zoia with a faster CPU. So capable pedal, I already pushed the CPU to it’s limit and it’s kinda frustrating. I’m using it as two independent effects for two synths which are then mixed into one stereo output

Especially before a ping-pong using a different time, perhaps a 3/16 time!!!) Uni-Vibe!!!! (I finally have quick access to one!!!) Dedicated Device Control Button!!!!! (Simple tool that's going to be super handy!) Not only is today my actual birthday, but I got a gift from EE!!!!! Hope to see many more modules added, still on this original hardware!

That is AMAZING! I love that Zoia is--in addition to its already awesome patches--also becoming a sorta "best of" for the algos on your other pedals. Ghostverb has definitely made me consider getting your reverb pedal! Literally the only two things on my Zoia mk2 wishlist anymore are (1) even MORE cpu power and (2) extra I/O for a stereo FX loop.
