The development of the game began in 1998. This game was handled by Opus Interactive, its creator was Manfred Lorenz. In 1999, Lorenz's son Dies of an illness because of this, Lorenz made a game about a sick son and before the 1st day of the game's release, Lorenz went mad, drowned himself in water and committed suicide, the game was then canceled due to the murder of Lorenz, but in the game it was possible to find some terrible Easter eggs for the murder of the creator himself, and at the end of the game, it was fashionable to look at the main character who had already died, and he sadly looks at the decapitated body that comes out screaming.

Both of u are wrong. It’s his daughter who died from the stairs. The scream at the end sounds like a girl, so it could be from Thea. Also, the grave that’s labeled crow is Thea in crow language. MatPat made a theory about this too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rae9pYydfq6YaKc

Fun Fact: Opus Interactive had spent over $10 million dollars on this one single game. They could no longer pay there staff. So, in order to combat this, Manfred Lorenz fired everyone from Opus and stayed in the office. He worked on the game for hours on end. One of his employees had gone up to him and told him to "Think of the player, realease the game." Manfred would respond by stating that "The player is gone." Hinting toward the fact that his daughter had died during production. But then, the N64 era had died. The Gamecube was annouced, no one wanted to buy Crow 64, and so due to this, Manfred had gone a couple miles off the coast of Cuxhaven, Germany, took all the computer software, and took all the equipment alongside with him. Jumping off his boat, ending 5 years of Development Hell.
