I come to you from the future! Apparently this thing has qc issues, most commonly the smokestack tabs that align the robot legs to the cab for super mode are very brittle and tend to break into legs. The best explanation is they are too long and fight with the super mode head tab. If you really push in the super mode head onto the cab instead of leaving it to float, then tabs go snap. Almost $300 well spent!

This was the way I was able to see that this Ginrai wasn't going to be MP Scale as we've come to know it across official and 3rd-party releases. Looks better than the original figure. I take a lot of pictures of the figures I have. Admittedly with just my cellphone. And the pictures don't always do the actual figure justice.

This is the only review I have come across that criticises MPG Ginrai. I have been wanting a Masterpiece Super Ginrai for so long, but the released photos just look wrong. Why is half of Super Ginrai's body grey? I have even bought 2 3rd party Super Ginrais but this one is the one that looks the worst. To me Masterpiece is epitomised by MP01 and Masterpiece Prowl - quality products. Sad pass on MPG Super Ginrai.

omg have you seen the cobra modular fortress with trench viper? I managed to get a couple because well, its a 1/12scale playset for under 100bucks. It is also modular and you know I am always going to be down to collect something modular. I love the world building in GIJoe and really hope this playset is the first in a long line of great playsets to come. i am totally biast on this with no shame I love playsets and dioramas and am over the moon that we finally get one at a price I can afford! :) Hope your day is going as well as mine mate@ 😊

At the end of the day, Hasbro is a big fat liar. The main point of the HASLAB is to give fans something that is too large and Premium to be sold at retail. The projects used a crowd funding model where customers had to pay upfront and receive the product a year later. Now all of a sudden they can offer the same scale products and not charge until the item is ready to ship. Seems to me that it could have been that way all along. Every figure that has ever been sold out as a pre-order, could have been a timed order release. U never had to worry about scalpers, bots or limited quantities because Hasbro has the ability to open the pre-order window long enough to produce enough product for everyone. They don't need to pay for molds, sculpting or licensing. I'm tired of all of the lies and excuses. I missed out on Serpentor, Dr. Mindbender, Major Blood, Cable, Jazz, Snarl, and some other characters from different lines. If Hasbro had made those figures available like DragonMan and the Sentinel, I never would have missed a thing. I guess kids beat me to the product.... How many kids do u think have a Pulse membership?

I agree with you completely! It’s something odd. Not clean animated. Not fresh missing link. Something in the middle, sort of 2010-design. Clearly made with backward compatibility in mind (why?). I think it belongs to haslab releases and not masterpieces.
