I had exactly this issue on bumpy rides. My bike shop changed the chainring, but seems ridiculous to have to pay for this if it is an obvious issue with a new expensive bike

Man!!!! Totally fixed the problem for my 2016 and the door even stays flush with the body now! Thanks for this! I’m still going to take mine to dealership and ask for a proper fix

Just did this on my 2014 sienna. Not perfect but practically free on only took a few minutes.

How do you remove the bolt/add the bolt that’s hidden behind the crank arm?
@ucberk599Ай бұрын
You use a bike torque wrench to unloosen the bolts from the front and screw in the new bolts.

One of the bolts isn’t hidden behind the crank arm?

I'm having the same chain drop problem, especially when I'm close to the large gear in the rear. Can you let us know which torque wrench you're using (brand and model)?

The sensor that tells the van that the gas door is open is waaaayyyy to stiff. This is why over time it brakes it.

I painted my black door to match my Sienna. I tried taking the door to a Toyota dealer to have them install it and they said no…😡. Because i didn’t buy it from them and i painted it they wouldn’t install the door.🙄. I’ll have to find that rivet gun and rivets

What is the part number of the little clip? Do you have a link to where I can buy it?

Great simple fix - works well enough, saves lot of money and/or work. Now carrying a spare zip tie in the van just in case lol

I had the same issue on my 2015. The zip tie seems to have fixed the problem. At least as you said, I can live with it! Thank you!

highly recommended, its smoother and has never dropped. WHY the praxis is designed that way is just wrong.
@jeffpetrinitz20129 ай бұрын
The blue stuff on the Bolts is loctite. It prevents the bolts from loosening up with vibration. You don’t want your chainring falling off while riding. I also use loctite on my bolts for my shoe cleats and other bolts that I don’t want to loosening up over time like my handle bar bolts. What torque setting did you use?

Installed two zip ties. Now the fuel door pops open like a jack in the box. I still have the problem with mechanical side door lock out actuator. It requires too much force to overcome the lockout which over time destroys the fuel door hinge.

Wolf tooth chain ring going well. I didn’t wait for a chain drop to change it. There are enough discussions in the facebook creo group that hint it may drop eventually. I wanted to avoid it. I didn’t need to use spacers and I didn’t need to modify the chain itself- reused the same length.
@TheJkarc0072 ай бұрын
hello, I have exactly the same problem as you with my Turbo Creo SL, how did it go with the modification? thanks in advance

@ucberk599 Looks good! After a few weeks how is your wolf tooth chain ring going? Does the chain align well when in the lower gears (worse/better) also have you had any dropped chain incidents?

Apparently Toyota was doing a free repair on "x" model siennas. Including mine. But it was timed. Mine broke after their repair period. This should be a safety recall since it causes an entire door to not function properly on the automatic doors.

Thanks for showing us this. The local police department sent their tech to copy video from my NVR and they couldn't figure this out.

what a difference in quality of life! I wouldnt have known about this splint if I hadnt seen your video. I ordered it online, then went back to the orthopaedist to make sure it would be ok. She said, Oh sure. Those are great! We just don't have any. !!!!???? Well, I have it now, and the past 2 months have been much more comfortable than they would have been if I had stayed with the giant splint they originally gave me. I have another week to go.

I had this happen to me a few weeks ago but instead of the tendon snapping the tendon fractured the joint in my finger and then I had to get surgery to have 2 pins that go through my skin and into the bone. The first 8-10 days I had a splint that completely made it so I could not see or move any of my fingers or my wrist. I got that off yesterday and now I have a kind of shield splint that protects the pins from hitting things. I also have to clean them twice a day for another 4 weeks then they get taken out and then another 4 weeks for the holes in my finger to heal. So the whole healing process takes roughly 8-10 weeks

Thanks for the informative video! Is the size for the stax splint the same as for the oval 8? For example, if I have a size 2 stax splint would it coincide witht he size 2 oval 8?
