familiar with Bears and Cardinals football since the early seventies …I found myself becoming interested in the Saints …and with that reference I’ve conjured up the word fan… I guess I was a semi fan…while living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1978 and 79 (always listening to them on the radio ) and the Saints were actually pretty respectable at that time …it’s nice to see any of the games from that era and sort of get to relive them …I think a lot of us do that….I’m forever grateful to you and /or anyone else that posts these old football games …thank you very much

NBC still hadn’t put the scoreboard in the upper corner like Fox had done years earlier. From what I heard, Bob Costas was a bit of a purist and had enough influence to prevent this from happening.
