Hi Kritika, This is a really informative video. I have two small questions. 1. I've been informed by the visa agent that they can apply for visa only 30 days prior to travelling dates. Additionally, we have to submit return flight tickets and hotel reservations as proof for visa application. So will it not be risky to spend all that money with the risk of visa might getting rejected. Pls let me know your experience on the same. 2. I'm planning this trip with my parents (both senior citizens and not earning). Will it be difficult for them to get visa. We will be sharing their bank statements with decent balance as proof. Thanks in advance.

Hey, thanks for watching the video. 1. Yes, you are absolutely right, you have to apply visa only 30 days prior to your travel date. The Singapore visa can only be applied through some selected agents like Makemytrip, AkbarTravels etc. and you don't need to book your flights and hotels, these travel agencies can show dummy tickets for you and once your visa is approved you can make the actual bookings. 2. I don't think getting visa for your parents would be a problem since you have good bank balance. Moreover, visa only gets rejected if the application is not filled properly or the visa counsellor believes that you won't come back to your home country. I hope this helps.

Hey! This is very subjective but if you book your tickets and hotels well in advance you can get it at good rates. Your tickets can cost you less than 30k and an average hotel will cost you around 6-7k per day depending on the area you prefer to stay in! Your meal cost varies as per your taste but you can manage in Rs.1000-1200 per meal to Rs.5000 per meal.

Hi, I am an international student currently studying in the UK. I am planning to apply for a schengen visa for spain in 1 month. However, my UK bank account has insufficient funds. I wanted to ask if i can be sponsored by my parents, and if their INDIAN bank statements would be sufficient to fulfil the schengen visa requirements, even though i am applying from UK. If not, then what should i do if i want to travel in the next 2 months?

Hi Kritika, my dad is unemployed and only gets income from sources like side business and rent which sums up to 70K per month. We are two brothers who are University students who want to go to France for 15 days as tourists. We have sufficient cash but not much in our father's bank statement. No savings, just income and expenses. Can my Paternal Uncle sponsor us brothers or my cousin sister, both of them have stable income and good savings! Please help me understand

It depends on the expiry of the visa. I think, now Schengen countries are issuing visas only for a period of 90 days!

You can travel for the sanctioned duration with the 90 day window given to you. Its only valid for 90 days and not years

That depends on what kind of sponsorship letter you have from France. If that letter supports your finances, then you don’t need a letter from India. But if it’s only an invitation to France, then you would need a sponsorship letter from India.
