If you had play a swing era standard rather than a fusion based shredding you would have had the crowd tapping their feet and you would have them. Disappointing. Make your Jazz playing more universal and you will draw the crowd in. There is a guy in the audience that wants to play Gypsy Jazz so show him.

Love mine. How about we ask for different strings also i.e. Flat wound. Bronze is too buzzy for bass.

What a great demo of tones, possibilities and the Taylor SB1. I have a standard model, great guitar, very innovative, flawless, lightweight, beautiful to my eye and ear, I treasure its uniqueness, so completely don't care that I am one of the few players that wields on of these, the guitar serves the musician who serves the music....This sits happily in my guitarsenal. I am pretty convinced I can get any sound I want on this guitar and more. It causes you to explore. Funny how now iconic guitars like to LP, etc. were flops when first introduced.

He PICKED UP MY GUITATR WHEN HE WAS 6 YEARS OLD AND STARTED PLAYING ALONG WITH ME A NATURAL BORN MUSICIAN. BUT ALWAYS VERY SHY AND NEVER HAD THE MEANS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO BE RECOGNIZED AS A SOLOLIST PROGESSIONAL GUITARIST. HIS DAD DIED WHEN HE WAS 14 YEARS OLD AND WE BARELY HAD ANY MONEY. I HAD TO WORK THREE JOBS TO KEEP UP WITH ALL THE BILLS AND TAKE CARE OF 4 CHILDREN. MY SUFFERED THE LOSS OF HIS DAD AND WOULD JUST PLAY IN THE LIVING ROOM FOR ME. I WANTED TO SHARE THIS STORY WITH YOU BECAUSE I WISH MY SON COULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE HIS TALENT IN THE SAME WAY YOU DO. THANKS FOR READING THIS LONG COMMENT. AFTER HEARING MORE OF UR MUSIC 🎶 🎵 I DID ENJOY THE SONGS YOU PLAYED.

YOU PLAY THE SAME CHORDS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I PERFORM ON ACCORDION SND MY SON PLAYS ALONG WITH ME. HE CAN PLAY WHATEVER I PLAY AND NEVER MISS A NOTE. FROM OLE STUFF TO ROCKNROLL POLKAS ITALIAN. AND ALL WITHOUT SINGING. I COMPARE HIM WITH CHET ATKINS. H

What an instrument, though... I'd blind swap my Les Paul for one of these, sight unseen, not knowing the price tag. It just looks like Les Paul evolved I a parallel universe, by a different guitar making juggernaut (i.e. from Gibson to Taylor). Love the top. Love the thickness - thinner than a LP, fatter than an SG. Just one volume/one tone and 5way witch in a convenient spot. More effective cutaway with cookie bite cute aswell (ala PRS). And the minihumbuckers...I've always had a fascination with them. In all, it could be the perfect LP style guitar...

I have one; it is my favourite guitar ever. I’ve had lovely a USA Strat and Tele, and played and recorded with some stunning Gibsons, including a ‘69 Black Beauty. The SBS1 is something really special.

Not at all. The Grand Pacific Series has more of a vintage western look, feel, tone, etc. Nothing compares to a D45. Taylor’s are different.

Wayne is a treasure! Technique, skill, imagination, knowledge, experience, chops; Wayne has it all. Became a fan seeing him play in a Duluth bar in December of 1981. Search for his earlier YT postings and you won’t be disappointed.

There is nothing else like Tobias. Paul and Ken Tobias' comfy and functional shop is the confluence of quality, great service, and fair pricing. If you need something done to your guitar or you need any accessory - you wont' be "nickeled and dimed" here. Tobias music's cornerstone is built on trust and fairness. It's the perfect balance of keeping the pressure off of you when you're shopping - but providing prompt answers and service exactly when needed. From my experience, I highly recommend their repair services (I had a 1964 twelve-string successfully rebraced), and their pickup installations.
