Sainz isn't as dominant as you'd want to be, for exit from Ferrari to be the big upset you suggest. Even though in the 1st half of 2024 Hamilton didn't perform well at all, it's still very possible he will perform at the level Ferrari want him to, and which you might expect from a 7 time WDC. Only if Sainz had beaten Leclerc clearly, Ferrari's choices could have been considered ridiculous. Doesn't take away from the fact their choice to decide the switch so early was plain crazy.

Monaco... Exactly what is already said about Monaco. There is hardly any room to overtake and it happens far too often that the starting line-up does not change the result. In any case, street circuits are not the races that fans are eagerly looking forward to. It seems very much like money is more important to the top of the FIA than the fans and the many races in the US are not fan friendly if you just look at the prices that fans have to pay in Las Vegas per ticket, let alone the food and drinks. Street circuits are suitable for street cars, not for Formula 1 cars. And if we are talking about eliminating race tracks, start with the tracks in countries that violate human rights or regimes that oppress population groups. But here too, money apparently plays a bigger role than socially acceptable behavior and the fact that everyone should have the same rights, as was clearly emphasized by the FIA for a while with regard to Black-lives-matter.

Basically Markos word / contract is worthless! It’s obvious Perez is struggling! But I believe it isn’t all his fault! If you’ve followed his career he’s proven he can drive, n you know he hasn’t forgotten drive. Unfortunately he’s getting pressure consistently from senile Marko and Horner an still they don’t set the car up to his liking!!! An why is that???

After Mexico the rumours where that Carlos Slim was ending sponsoring Red Bull and there are cetainly other sponsors willing to cover that loss of money . What does it say in Perez's contract ? Normally it says that he 's a Red Bull driver but so are Lawson and Tsunoda they can be switched around any time.

what is constantly forgotten when talking about Checo is that he did not come from the Red Bull program, so his contract is very different from any other driver who has (I think Verstappen can be excluded as well by now). Usually the drivers are totally vulnerable by RB's mood swings, and if it wants them to give up RedBull cans in front of night clubs, they have to. Checo's contract is a lot more robust, with break clauses and penalty fines. He also, unlike most RB inhouse drivers, brings a lot of cash into the team, so this explains why he is kept in the team when other drivers got canned for much less. My guess is that Perez will remain for 25, which will be his last season in RB and he will retire afterwards.

No, let Lewis go, he hasn't access to any new data for the car for next year, is excluded from a lot of meetings and Lewis seems not to be motivated any more, Replace him with the driver for next year, so he can gain more experience and prepare for the next season, under the current rules.

He's had it so easy in F1, and never really had to earn his stripes that being forced to do so now is proving more difficult for him. Most drivers go through this stuff early on in their career, and it builds character. Lewis hasn't ever had to do that. Placed under Ron Dennis' wing as a child he was fast tracked through junior formula and straight into a potential Championship winning McLaren. Then, in 2012, on the eve of the hybrid era, he signed with Mercedes who'd already started working on their 2014 car. A technical advantage Mercedes carried for seven years. It's only been the last couple of seasons when, for the first time in his F1 career Hamilton's actually had to put the hours into driving a car which isn't dominant. A sufferance which is only made worse by his team mate out performing him. Lewis is without doubt an exceptionally talented driver. That was evident during his karting days and the whole reason why Ron Dennis signed him up in the first place. There's no denying however, he's had a magic carpet ride, until now. His move from McLaren to Mercedes at the perfect time as McLaren were about to collapse and Mercedes dominate was riding the crest of the wave. And it looks as if he may have timed it just right to join Ferrari as they begin to peak too. However, the lack of having to earn his stripes earlier in his career has been showing in his behaviour the last two seasons.

The argument that "kids would be watching the press conference" is especially dumb because the press conference isn't broadcast at all. Sometimes, but not always, recordings appear. But they could easily edit them when there is language that they do not like.

Immediately when the new president of the FIA was announced, I questioned whether a figure of that cultural background was the right one to choose as FIA president. At first I wanted to see how he would act in cases like this, but it appears my initial doubt was completely confirmed. (so much for prejudices)

The entire F1 (and the media) are too left-wing. If you encounter or experience something at those speeds, as you yourself indicated, you are allowed to swear. They can also add a delay of a few seconds so that they can ONLY ''brush away'' that, but I think that swearing should be allowed and if you can't stand it, then you should watch something else. And do you really think that the FIA or believers who watch don't swear?...Accept or leave. And the FIA should not mold racers as they wish

There is hard driving and then there is dangerous driving, Max has been a dangerous driver for too many years without being punished. RB have enabled him, not considering the danger he puts other drivers and stewards in. This has been a long time coming and to be honest a few black flags, race bans will make him a far more considerate racer. We do not need to go back to the dirty days of the 80/90/00. You have to be able to trust the other drivers on track to do the right thing, he is not alone when it comes to being dangerous, but he is alone when it comes to his skill level and the position he holds. Max is a fantastic driver, he does not need to be so idiotic.

Also note that Max needs to change NOTHING. The FIA needs to stop being Corrupt. P.S. The Brazil Sprint was a fucking SHAM. Nobody can say the FIA isn't corrupt after that BS.

In all honesty. the assumption that Max did that on purpose for one reason and one reason only is dumb. take the outcome of last race move Lando up to 1st place and add 20 secs to Max's time. you'll see there is not much difference. 3 points at most. and it might even have been possible that Max might have ended up a place up from that. Next to that the claim that the penalties Max received were the standard one's is also debatable. As George Russel only got 5 seconds for the same action only one race prior. It is this sort of inconsistencies that are making long time race fans call for professional stewards. There is TOO much inconsistency in penalty hand outs. I'm not stating that the stewards of the Mexican GP were too much on Lando's side of things. But keep in mind that if the situation would have been reversed and one of the stewards would have been the son of the Red Bull race team founder and the penalty would be twice that of a similar previous action there'd be hell to pay.

Verstappen is a superb driver, one of the best we've seen in F1. He's using overly aggressive cornering techniques to compensate for an underperforming car. He needs to accept the limitations of the 2024 car and work with Red Bull engineers to squeeze more performance out of the 2025 car rather than risking lives on the track.
